The post holder will manage light stable isotope analysis operations within the BioArCh labs, overseeing the EA-IRMS instruments and supporting other lab equipment. Key responsibilities include sample preparation, equipment maintenance, lab inductions, and training students and staff. The post holder will work closely with academic and research staff as well as external stakeholders, producing high quality reports to assist in the preparation of peer reviewed publications. They will also handle procurement, update risk assessments, SOPs, and CoSHH forms, and act as a Health and Safety Committee Representative. Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the successful candidate will contribute to lab efficiency and have experience in managing resources and small-scale projects.
