We are looking for an Assistant Scientist providing research and analytical support in the Getty Conservation Institute’s Science Department. Your work will focus on our Lighting Research and Practice project - which examines issues related to museum lighting and is part of Managing Collections Environments, a multi-project initiative that addresses the sustainable management of collection environments in museums, libraries, and archives. You will be an integral member of the Preventive Conservation research team, helping us broaden expertise on environmental and object monitoring through laboratory and field studies, assessments of monitoring/analysis tools, and education/training.
