The University of Applied Arts Vienna has an opening for the position of University Professor in Conservation-Restoration. Required is a nationally and internationally networked personality with a holistic view of the subject of conservation-restoration, also with a strong connection to conservation science research and conservation-restoration practice, who will further develop the subject in terms of content, open up new subject areas, operate internationally, and successfully lead the Institute into the future. The professorship represents the field of conservation-restoration with a focus on methodically developing conservation-restoration practice, critically and reflectively questioning working methods, and stimulating relevant and future-oriented discourses.
