We are seeking a full-time, permanent Lecturer in Environmental Archaeology (Teaching and Research), ideally with particular specialism in (vertebrate) zooarchaeology (or a specialism that does not replicate existing research specialisms) and experience in field-based archaeology. The successful candidate will contribute novel, practical expertise in Environmental Archaeology teaching and research to the School that complements (but does not replicate) existing expertise. The appointment will also reflect our commitment to field teaching at Aberdeen and our CIfa accreditation – the candidate will run field-based research projects that include students and will develop more sustained field school opportunities over time.
