Our School of Archaeology and Ancient History are seeking to appoint a new SEM Technician and Technical Services manager to support our Zeiss Evo 25 Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and manage our technical resources. Your primary focus would be the Zeiss Evo 25 Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), providing lead support for the SEM facility (including analytical instruments), working closely and collaboratively with academic colleagues, with skills and expertise to drive forward the science undertaken in the School. You will also be responsible for the management and day to day operation for the laboratory areas and lead a small but growing technical support team. In addition, you will have the opportunity to support research undertaken by various academic and non-HEI partners.
