We have a vacancy for Head Engineer at The National Laboratory for Age Determination. The successful candidate will be organized, independent, and able to show initiative while interacting with colleagues. As the laboratory consists of a small group of people, communication within the group is extremely important. The task distribution will vary depending on demand in the laboratory. The successful candidate is expected to distribute their efforts accordingly. You will report to the leader of The National Laboratory for Age Determination. Duties of the position: Measurement of tree-ring samples for dendrochronological analysis; Determination of wood species in charcoals and wood samples by microscopic wood anatomy. This will need some degree of focused study depending on previous experience and evolution of sample in the lab; Interaction with users and sample administration.
