We seek a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Archaeology, Bioarchaeology or a related areas who can significantly enhance research in these areas and teaching at Masters’ level for our growing MSc and MSci Forensic Science courses. You will have a PhD and a developing research profile in Forensic Archaeological or Bioarchaeological areas. You will need proven Higher Education teaching experience in Forensic Science, and will be able to teach in areas such as recovery and interpretation of forensic archaeological/biological evidence; forensic fieldwork; recording; and the reporting and delivery of expert evidence. We also welcome applicants with industrial experience.
You will be expected to undertake research within the School, complementing our existing strengths to enhance the activities of the Chemistry and Forensics Department. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, and be capable of teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students across our portfolio of Forensic Science courses.
