Candidates for the tenure-track professorship should have an excellent international track record of research on the development of analytical tools, in particular chronometric and biomolecular methodologies. Applications to archaeological and palaeo-environmental investigations are particularly welcome. Preference will be given to applicants whose research focus concerns human evolution in Europe and Asia. Successful candidates are expected to have already won an excellence Grant (FWF Start, ERC Starting grant or equivalent) in this field.
