The position includes working as a zooarchaeologist, advising on natural science analyses and project managing the ArchaeoScience Unit, which advises and carries out scientific analysis for archaeological museums and research project, primarily in Denmark. The right applicant has a strong track-record in the analysis of faunal remains from Denmark and the Middle East, including the ability to contribute to reports and publications. The person appointed to the position will analyse faunal remains, but will need to understand and promote other relevant science analysis as required. The position also require collaboration with various partners within the University and beyond. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to continue the development of the ArchaeoScience Unit.
