The UCL Institute of Archaeology is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow in Bioarchaeology and Forensic Anthropology who will carry out teaching on the MSc in Bioarchaeological and Forensic Anthropology. The programme provides students with fundamental skills and knowledge to study human remains in both bioarchaeological and forensic anthropological context.
The post-holder will contribute to the teaching, organisation and marking of the core modules in the MSc Bioarchaeological and Forensic Anthropology. The nature of the contribution will depend on the successful candidate's research specialisation and teaching experience. The post-holder will also assist with the second marking of dissertations and other assessed work. They will develop learning materials and maintain records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance. At present, there is a particular focus on developing online learning materials including photographs and three dimensional computer models. The post is available for 12 months in the first instance.
