Post-Doc : Interoperability for restoration (Genova)

Experimentation and critical evaluation of specific Industrial Information Classes (IFC) through which to manage, on interoperable platforms, different knowledge data on existing historic buildings, with the related design and decision-making processes for their conservation and enhancement, also with reference to Advanced survey methods (3D laser scanner, Z-scan,, Structure from Motion ...). The modelling and processing of relevant and analytical-diagnostic data (graphs or alpha-numeric) is being modelled and processed; storage and management of historical data, current state, design and management, dynamically placed over time, using relational data bases, GIS or the "BIM-Building Information Modelling" for cultural heritage. The project will be developed on a historic building in Genoa.
