Post-Doc : Research Assistant/Associate in endangered African Heritage open access databases (Cambridge)

The McDonald Institute invites applications for a three-year, full-time, Research Assistant/Associate in Endangered African Heritage Open Access Databases. Applicants must have MA/MSc/MPhil or PhD/D.Phil. in Computer Science (or a related and relevant subject), or Archaeological GIS or Computational Archaeology together with experience in database design with PostGIS and/or other open source databases, open source GIS software such as QGIS and GRASS, and demonstrated programming experience using Python, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and CSS languages; using the command-line interface and Github repositories; and working with object-relational and/or semantic graph (RDF) database management.
