The research will focus on the genetic analysis of ancient human remains from archaeological contexts of the Italian region in order to expand the knowledge about biological profile and genetic variability of ancient populations with a focus on the Iron Age (I millennium BCE). Bioarcheological material from different contexts will be also analyzed.
