The Conservation Science Fellow, Electron Microscopy is a grant-funded, 2-year position, intended to start in January 2025. The purpose of this fellowship is to support research exploring the removal of sulfur compounds from waterlogged organics focused on electron microscopic techniques. This fellowship is funded by the IMLS Leadership Grant for Museums, which frames the scope of work performed. The fellow will work closely with the Conservation Research Scientist and the Senior Archaeological Conservator.
