The CENIEH invites applications to fill one position as a Geoarchaeology and Digital Mapping Researcher, for a specialist in the application of geospatial technologies and the use of geomatic equipment. The Geoarchaeology and Digital Mapping Researcher appointed will undertake the following general tasks, among others, pursue research in the geoarchaeology line, performing at least the following tasks: Digital surveys and geological characterization of Plio-Quaternary sequences and fillings; Geomorphological analysis applying geomatic techniques for the mapping and reconstruction of paleolandscapes; Analyses of site formation processes and geospatial analyses of Paleolithic assemblages.
