The Witt Lab in the Department of Genetics and Biochemistry at Clemson University is seeking up to two postdoctoral fellows to assist with ongoing population genomics projects in the lab. These projects involve analysis of low-coverage genomic data from ancient domesticated populations or the analysis of published human genome data for a variety of projects, including examining selection over time in ancient populations and archaic ancestry in modern humans (both genome-wide and focused on a specific gene). Successful candidates will be expected to analyze genomic data, prepare and collaborate on manuscripts, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, and assist with grant preparation. There will also be opportunities for postdocs to develop their own research projects and apply for grants.
