The research aims to create three-dimensional digital reconstructions of environments within historical buildings (studies, galleries, chapels and nonplaces to recover), where the original lighting conditions are virtually restored, both during the day and at night, following ancient modes of use with pre-industrial lighting sources, as evidenced by literary, documentary, and philological historiographic sources. Geometric and photometric measurements are planned using unconventional techniques to recreate non-electric lighting sources digitally. The obtained results will enhance the usability and analysis conditions of the digitally reconstructed spaces.
