We are seeking an outstanding Post-Doctoral Research Associate (PDRA) in Palaeoecology, with advanced analytical skills and knowledge of biodiversity and Archaeology to lead research examining late Pleistocene and Holocene impacts of human development on biodiversity, and its implications for present-day and future interactions between humanity and biodiversity. This position aims to (i) compile timelines and identify the global extent of human and biodiversity development associated with the development and spread of human societies, (ii) analyse the likely human-generated causality of biodiversity change for selected taxa, regions and periods of time and (iii) collaborate with others to bring a past-present-future perspective to public and scientific debates around the future of conservation and biodiversity.
