The Center for Early Medieval Studies, Department of Art History, and the Department of Archaeology and Museology, Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, announce a selection procedure for the position of a post-doctoral specialist in digital humanities with focus on political or historical sciences. Main duties: to carry out research focused on theoretical conception and application of the tools stemming from digital humanities in interdisciplinary discourse and research practice;to conceive and implement an interdisciplinary project database containing heterogenous data (visual, textual, material, biological, technical, etc.); to conceive (in collaboration with a database specialist) a multi-media platform adequate for the dissemination of results of interdisciplinary research to broader audiences.
