The School of Archaeology is seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the European Research Council-funded project ‘Exploring the dynamics and causes of prehistoric land use change in the cradle of European farming’. EXPLO is a collaboration between the University of Oxford, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Bern, running from 2019 to 2024. The post holder will finalise assembly of crop stable isotope and arable weed functional trait databases and the creation of open-access resources; and contribute to data organisation, data analysis, interpretation, and publication of associated ecological and archaeobotanical results including use of these resources.
