We are looking for a committed staff member who is enthusiastic about new perspectives of archaeological research with a cultural and social science orientation. The position is based in the Emmy Noether research group SEAFRONT of The Leibniz Centre for Archaeology (LEIZA). Your tasks: Planning, implementation and evaluation of archaeological and palaeoclimatic investigations; Sclerochronological analyses through LIBS and oxygen isotope analysis; Development and application of statistical models for data analysis; Statistical integration of subsistence-relevant (e.g. archaeozoological and archaeobotanical) data with the climatic data of the snail shells.
