We are seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to join a new project “Looking Past to see the Future,” funded by the North Pacific Research Board. The project involves the use of archived modern and archaeological otolith collections and otolith-derived proxies for temperature (δ18O), metabolism, and growth to examine the frequency of potential physiological and behavioral responses before, during, and after a modern marine heatwave and in prehistoric periods with a greater range of environmental conditions.
