The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) offers a new Research Fellowship in Laser Cleaning in Conservation, supported by Ed and Anne Teppo. This fellowship gives talented candidates a unique opportunity to develop and conduct their research in laser cleaning of artworks at the V&A, with access to the expertise of our museum scientists, conservators, collections, library and laboratory. You will be working in the Conservation Department in close contact with the museum’s conservators and scientists, and will have access to the newly-refurbished Science Laboratory and its state-of-the-art scientific analysis equipment. You will be using primarily an Er:YAG laser, but will also have Nd:YAG lasers available.
