Logo Oxford UniversityApplications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant (PDRA) to join the Human-Environment Relationships in pre-Columbian Amazonia (HERCA) project, to be based at the University of Oxford. The position is jointly funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), and is led by Frank Mayle (Co-PI, University of Reading), Eduardo G. Neves (Co-PI, University of São Paulo) and Christopher Ramsey (Co-I University of Oxford). The post holder will carry out laboratory work associated with radiocarbon dating of samples for the project using specialist scientific equipment in the radiocarbon laboratory. In addition to managing their own academic research and administrative activities, they will assist in the management and maintenance of the HERCA database.
