Historic England have a fantastic opportunity for a Geophysicist to join us. The Historic England Geophysics Team is a small supportive team with a wide remit and this appointment offers an excellent opportunity to improve experience across the full range of its activities. These involve applying a range of geophysical techniques, both vehicle-towed arrays and more traditional hand-held instruments, to work on monuments of national importance, multi-disciplinary research projects and sector training. The role will involve travel for fieldwork to sites across England and may suit an archaeological geophysicist looking to broaden their experience. The position is based in Fort Cumberland, we offer hybrid working where you are based in the office and at home.
