Professorship in Biomolecular Archaeology at the Department of Archaeology and Cultural Anthropology and at the Bonn Center for ArchaeoSciences (BoCAS) at the earliest opportunity for a period of five years. We seek a colleague with a strong record of research excellence who – coming from archaeological science, natural science, biology, medicine, or related fields – will shape the field of biomolecular archaeology. The geographic area of research is open. Candidates who study health and disease as well as environmental impact on past human populations and whose research and teaching complements that of existing department members are especially encouraged to apply.
