The Institute for Digital Cultural Heritage Studies seeks a specialist in Heritage Data Science who will utilize Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and other geospatial and digital techniques to ask and answer questions vital to studying the human experience and improving the understanding, preservation, and sustainable use of the cultural and material legacies of the past. Scholars with an interdisciplinary background whose research is directed towards developing suitable tools, methods, and workflows to analyze 2D and 3D geospatial data generated from the documentation of cultural heritage (e.g., using airborne and terrestrial LiDAR, satellite imagery, geophysical instruments, etc.) are especially encouraged to apply.
