Post-Doc : Bioinformatic analyses of wheat paleogenomic data (Toulouse)

The postdoctoral researcher will work within the AGES research team (Archaeology, Genomics, Evolution and Societies), led by Prof Ludovic Orlando. The main expertise of this research team is to characterize those genetic changes that accompanied major past evolutionary and societal transitions. The research project will be part of the ongoing ANR ArkaeoAG programme, whose main focus consists of tracking the origins and the spread of wheat farming during the Holocene, a process that had a far-reaching socio-economic impact up to modern civilizations.
