We seek an enthusiastic, creative individual with a strong background in (ancient) phylogenetics and population genomics methods, evolutionary biology, or associated disciplines. You will join our research group (Biomolecular Palaeoanthropology group at the Globe Institute) in the context of PROSPER, an ERC Starting Grant project aimed at developing new analytical approaches to unravel the phyloproteomic relationships between several Middle and Late Pleistocene hominin populations. As part of PROSPER, your tasks will be conducting phylogenetic analysis of fauna and hominin proteomic datasets generated by the project, including the integration of genetic datasets of modern and ancient hominins into our analysis pipelines. The research will be conducted in an international, highly diverse research environment, involving collaborators and partners from various continents and scientific backgrounds.
