Funded by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Australian Biodiversity and Heritage, this position is based in the Archaeology and Natural History unit at the Australian National University. The Postdoctoral/Research Fellow will work closely with Associate Professor Janelle Stevenson as well as a community of palaeoecological researchers across the Centre of Excellence on the establishment of an Australian pollen monitoring network. The Postdoctoral/Research Fellow will dedicate 0.5 FTE of their time to projects related to the establishment of the network, while the other 0.5 FTE can be spent on a project of their choosing. The Postdoctoral/Research Fellow will be responsible for a diverse range of fieldwork and research activities including the deployment, collection and management of data related to the network. They will work as part of a research team, liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, including school and community outreach programs, and will provide assistance with the design and implementation of research directions. They will be expected to liaise broadly with academic and professional colleagues across the School, College, wider University community and external stakeholders.
