The Archaeometry Laboratory at University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR) welcomes applications for a Research Scientist. The candidate will join a dynamic group of specialists in archaological science, contributing to the 35+ year legacy of advancing methodological developments and providing archaeometric services for the global archaeology community. Our core analytical techniques include NAA, XRF, multiple ICP-MS methodologies, and Raman Spectroscopy. The candidate must be research-active and is expected to pursue their own independent, externally-funded research. They will contribute to ongoing lab operations, new programming initiatives, and mentorship and training of undergraduate/graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
