You will be responsible for organizing the work in the ancient DNA laboratories and also participate in the production of large scale sequence data from ancient materials. It is also expected that the successful applicant will participate in the daily activities at the Centre for Palaeogenetics and interact with researchers from the different groups. We are looking for someone with a master's degree in a relevant area e.g. archaeometry, zoology, ecology, population genetics. The candidate should have documented experience of laboratory work with ancient DNA and high-throughput sequencing. The Centre for Paleogenetics is a large facility with different research interests, which is why a demonstrated track-record of working in a similar laboratory facility will be considered a merit.
