Logo Universita di Bologna

Research activity will be focused on the application and development of quantitative methods to the study, documentation and dissemination of the archaeological and bioanthropological record, and cultural heritage in the broadest sense. By adopting a transdisciplinary approach, the researcher will contribute to the development of this sector from a theoretical, methodological and interpretive point of view. As part of the needs of the Center for Human Evolution, envisaged research will focus on integrating heterogeneous data sources to study processes of cultural and biological change, their mutual impact, and their relationship with environmental change and adaptive strategies. Participation in conferences/seminars and in the activities of national and international research groups is expected, to strengthen the scientific relations between the Department and similar structures.
