Applicants are expected to have substantial experience in the history of science, technology, or medicine and/or science and technology studies. Applicants with expertise in the histories of multidisciplinary scientific approaches, methods, and techniques will be well positioned to address questions explored by this working group pertaining to histories of animal materials and artifacts as explored through zooarchaeological, proteomic, and archaeogenetic practices. Research backgrounds in museum conservation, fiber and material studies, archaeology, or other relevant fields are also advantageous.
