We seek an enthusiastic, motivated individual with a strong background in ancient metagenomics and/or microbial ecology. You will be based in Dr. Hannes Schroeder’s research group in the Section for Evolutionary Genomics at the Globe Institute and your work will involve analyzing ancient metagenomic data sets from ancient “chewing gums” from archaeological sites in Scandinavia and beyond with the aim to reconstruct ancient oral microbiomes. The research will be conducted in an international, highly diverse research environment, involving collaborators and partners from various continents and scientific backgrounds.
