The Mass Spectrometry lab has just opened an archaeological study to undertake the determination of sex from peptides from tooth enamel using nanoflow liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (nLC-MS). Your role will be working directly on this project, overseeing sample collection, and performing LC-MS and related analyses, so whilst experience of this subject is desirable, if you do not have this full training will be given. Your duties in this post will be varied, but will include: the collection, preparation, processing, and storage of samples for nLC-MS, nLC-MS Analysis. In addition, you will be preparing reports on the analysis conducted, ensuring a high standard of housekeeping in the laboratory, and ordering chemicals and supplies.
