The School of History, Archaeology and Religion invites applications for a fixed-term (16 months), full-time Research Associate to work on the AHRC-funded project: Feasting networks and resilience at the end of the British Bronze Age (FEASTNET). The principal focus of the position is to deliver a programme of multi-isotope analysis on faunal remains from Late Bronze Age/ Early Iron Age midden sites in Wiltshire and the Thames Valley. The post also involves outreach, engagement and dissemination activities. Experience in processing samples for isotope analysis is essential as is familiarity with applications of isotope analysis in archaeology. Zooarchaeological experience is desirable for the purposes of identifying samples in museum collections, as is experience of outreach/engagement work.
