We are currently looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Archaeological Sciences to be responsible for the acquisition, processing, and analysis of oxygen isotope data from the sensitive high-resolution ion microprobe for stable isotopes (SHRIMP SI) after a period of rigorous training and supervision. This is a two-year position that falls as part of an ARC Discovery Grant.This position will be based at ANU in Canberra and will benefit from the considerable experience of ANU Emeritus Professor Ian Williams and Griffith University Professor Tanya Smith, as well as informal mentorship from members of the ANU Research School of Earth Sciences. Legal permission to work in Australia is required. Experience operating an ion microprobe and/or working with oxygen isotope datasets collected from biominerals is required.
