The Department “Artifacts, Action, Knowledge” seeks one Postdoctoral Scholar for the working group “Proteins and Fibers: Scaffolding History with Molecular Signatures” at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, Berlin (MPIWG). Applicants are expected to have substantial experience in the History of Science, Technology, or Medicine. Applications that address the histories of multidisciplinary scientific approaches, methods, and techniques such as the ones used in zooarchaeology, proteomics, archaeogenetics, and museum conservation are particularly welcome. Research backgrounds in fiber and material studies, science and technology studies, archaeology, or other relevant fields are advantageous.
