The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Department of Anthropology invites applications for a 3-Year Full-Time Lecturer position in biological anthropology or bioarchaeology beginning Fall 2021. The department seeks a candidate who can make contributions to our undergraduate major in anthropology, including concentrations in Archaeology and in Global Health & Migration, and our Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies. The successful candidate will be able to teach introductory-level courses in human evolution, archaeology, and forensics, and, possibly, upper-division courses in the candidate’s sub-field of specialization. Preference will be given to candidates who address human conflict, human-environment interactions, or other elements of human health in their teaching.
