Participation in the multidisciplinary research project TabulaRasa, focusing on the materials-based investigation of historical wax tablets from antiquity to the early modern period. Development, evaluation and application of separation methods (GC-MS, PyGC-MS and DEP-MS) to identify the organic components in wax mixtures. Based on analytical results, production of material and historically informed reconstructions for rheological, deformation and flow tests. Application of FTIR and SEM-EDX for the characterisation of pigments additives and reaction products.
