The NTNU University Museum is seeking a highly qualified, ambitious and motivated candidate for a PhD position in Environmental archaeology (Stone Age). The purpose of the PhD project is to study interactions between humans and environment in Central Norway in the Stone Age. The successful project will explore how new cross-disciplinary approaches (e.g. methods, datasets, models, theoretical frameworks) can supplement our knowledge of human landscape use and impact on the environment. Data from Central Norway (the NTNU University Museum’s district) will be the focus of the study, but comparisons with other material, data or contexts nationally or globally are welcome.
