The Curt-Engelhorn-Centre for Archaeometry gGmbH, Mannheim, Germany (CEZA), a non-profit research organization associated with the University of Heidelberg, Germany, has an opening for the director of the Klaus Tschira Laboratory for Archaeometry (KTA). The KTA conducts AMS 14C analyses in various fields, such as establishing chronologies for archaeo-logical projects and determination of fossil vs. modern components in various organic com-pounds and authentication tests. Presently strong expertise exist in tree-ring based radiocarbon calibration in the close collaboration with the tree-ring archive at the University of Hohenheim, Germany. Research projects are conducted in close collaboration with groups at the Institute of Environmental Physics at the University of Heidelberg (IUP).
